Vote Yes on U2018 – PROTECT Santa Maria!

Thanks to the community’s support, our local Santa Maria Police Department fought off gangs like MS-13 and kept our neighborhoods and children safe. We’re grateful that our local police officers work hard to keep gangs and drugs out of our community.

We also give thanks to the community’s support, Fire Station 5 was fully staffed, extending fire and lifesaving coverage for our homes, businesses, and families and improving critical response times.   We’re grateful that our fire fighters are always on the job protecting our lives and community.

Extend funding for our public safety and quality of life services by voting
YES on U!

Over the last 25 years, Sacramento politicians took more than $55,000,000 in our local taxpayer dollars. That’s why Santa Maria voters acted in 2012 to keep our taxpayer money local—extend local funding by voting YES on U!

YES ON U DOES NOT TAX

your home or property, nor does it apply to food purchased as groceries or prescription medicines.

YES ON U SIMPLY EXTENDS

and protects critical funding for vital Santa Maria public safety services. Yes on U increases the number of police officers in gang suppression and crime prevention, maintains 911 emergency medical response times, fully staffs all City fire stations, and fights gangs and drugs.

YES ON U ALSO EXTENDS SUPPORT

for at-risk youth programs, gang suppression and enforcement, maintains our anti-gang youth outreach programs, and enhances recreation and youth programs and facilities.

YES ON U IS FISCALLY ACCOUNTABLE

with strong taxpayer protections including continued Independent Citizen’s oversight and public annual audits. Sacramento can’t touch one cent of Yes on U funds.
